The head of the "Independence Movement", MP Michel Moawad, tweeted saying: "The issue is not political or ideological but rather Public Health security for every Lebanese Citizen. Even Iraq suspended its trips with Iran. Lebanon is overpopulated and is not ready for an effective confrontation with the spread of Corona."
He added: "Applying the ostrich policy is a crime and the government must immediately suspend flights with Iran, China, South Korea and any country that could dangerously affect Lebanon instead of waiting for the catastrophe, God forbid."
