Commenting on the Court case initiated against media figure Hisham Haddad, who hosts the TV program ‘La hon w bass’, the president of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad posted on his Twitter account:
“The Freedom of Press in Lebanon is a red line;
Laughter is more than needed in these days, to lessen the weight of the problems that the country is enduring;
Therefore, without holding any doubt, I express my solidarity with Hisham Haddad, despite the divergence of views between us on various matters.”
