On the anniversary of Major Wissam Eid’s assassination, the president of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad posted on his Twitter account:
“On this day, we remember Major Wissam Eid and Sergeant Oussama Meerheb. We salute the two martyrs with high respect. They were an example of faithfulness towards Lebanon and dedication at the service of truth... We are confident that Justice will eventually prevail, no matter how much time it takes.”
Moawad added to the tweet a photo of Major Eid.
