Beirut, November 3rd, 2017 - The president of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad visited the President of the Republic Michel Aoun at the Baabda Presidential Palace today. Moawad invited the President to sponsor and to attend the requiem mass to be held on Sunday December 3rd, 2017, at the St John’s Cathedral in Zgharta, marking the 28th commemoration of President Rene Moawad’s assassination.
The visit included general talks on the current local and regional political developments.
