Beirut, November 4th, 2017 – Commenting on Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s resignation, the president of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad wrote on his social media pages:
“What has led to the present developments are the attempts to drag Lebanon into regional conflicts and use it to confront its surroundings.”
He added: “The only solution is to preserve Lebanon’s neutrality. This will protect the country’s security and stability.”
