Commenting on MP Setrida Geagea’s words in a meeting that she held in Australia, in which she recounted a story involving the Zgharta citizens, the president of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad tweeted on his Twitter account:
"What we heard from MP Setrida Geagea is not acceptable by any means, whatever was the context in which she was speaking. Her words require a clarification and presenting an apology to all the Zgharta-Zawiyat people."
