Greeting the Lebanese for Easter, the president of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad wrote on his social media pages:
“Life prevailed over death; freedom defeated slavery; and truth prevailed over untruth… Christ is risen. He is risen, indeed!”
Moawad added to his tweet a photo on which is written:
“By your Resurrection o Lord of Glory, your people were adorned with their most magnificent ornaments. Happy Easter!”
