The President of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad tweeted on his personal account, mourning the passing away of Ghazi Aad the President of the SOLIDE Association which worked for the freeing of the detainees in the Syrian prisons:
‘Ghazi Aad left us with the pain of the detained in the Syrian prisons in his heart and ours. May your soul rest in Peace, Ghazi. You will always carry their cause wherever you are.’
