The Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF), in partnership with Ardeh Municipality, launched Tuesday a new environmental project to reduce energy consumption and bolster efficiency in Ardeh, Zgharta.
The project dubbed "Towards Sustainable energy consumption in the local communities of Northern Lebanon" comes within the framework of Sustainable Urban Demonstration Projects (SUDeP) funded by the European Union.
The project aims to raise awareness on energy consumption and puts a model for municipal work through the promotion and implementation of sustainable development measures for energy efficiency at the community level.
