The Resigned Member of the Lebanese Parliament and President of the Independence Movement, Michel Moawad, congratulated the Lebanese national basketball team on qualifying to the FIBA Asia Cup playoffs. He tweeted: “Congratulations to the Lebanese basketball team on their victory in FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers. A beacon of light has been shined by the Lebanese youth at a time of complete governmental failures on all levels!”
