The President of the Independence Movement, MP Moawad , renewed his “support to the Lebanese Army: leaders and soldiers for taking the right decision in protecting the protestors and respecting their right of expression.”
On twitter, he added: “whom who has a different opinion can protest elsewhere. Citizens have the right to protest peacefully and express their opinion, as mentioned in the Lebanese Constitution. We cannot accept any kind of oppression.”
