President of the Independence Movement, MP Michel Moawad, posted on his Twitter account a photo of him with US Ambassador Elizabeth Richard during the commemoration of the United States' 242nd Independence Day at the US embassy in Beirut, commenting "Congratulations to the American people on this occasion!"
