President of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad stated over twitter: "One more time, the international community reaffirms the importance of Lebanon's stability and security, therefore we have a responsibility to follow up CEDRE and the Rome conference with internal reforms and an actual fight against corruption and the transformation of the state from a failed, corrupt employer into a regulator of the Lebanese economy.
