The president of the ‘Independence Movement’ Michel Moawad posted on his Twitter account:
“Today is the ‘World Civil Defence Day’. On this day, I salute, with respect and appreciation, the sacrifices of the ‘Lebanese Civil Defence’.”
He added:
“It is important to provide the directorate with more efficient equipment, that will offer more protection to its members and will enhance its highly valued and dynamic role.”
