On the occasion of Labor Day, the president of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad tweeted via Twitter, saying:
“A Nation’s dignity comes from the dignity of its workers... Protecting them is a responsibility; ensuring their rights is a duty; and supporting their capacities is a right for them not only on May 1st, but on each day of the year. ”
Moawad added to the tweet a photo of a resting worker on which is written what can be translated to: “Good job! May God give you good health!”
