The president of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad commented on the field visit organized by Hezbollah for the media on the Southern border. Moawad tweeted on his personal Twitter account:
“What Hezbollah did in the South today (20 April), under the name ‘Tour for the Media people’, is a strident violation to the 1701 UN resolution and exposes Lebanon to threats which we are better off without .”
