Showing his solidarity with the 'Al Jadeed' TV station, the president of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad tweeted on his personal Twitter account:
"The Media freedom is a red line for which we as Lebanese have paid a heavy price in blood and tears. No compromises in this regard!"
And he added:
"What the 'Al Jadeed' is facing is absolutely unacceptable. We offer all our solidarity with the station and its employees against the attacks that are aimed at it."
