The president of the Independence Movement, Michel Moawad, tweeted on his personal Twitter account:
"We will remain faithful to the martyrs of Lebanon, who have sacrificed their lives so that the State’s institutions can stand and justice can be achieved".
Moawad’s words came as a tribute to martyr Wissam Eid and his martyr-companions.
