Commenting on what the ‘Al Akhbar’ newspaper published about him working to form an ‘opposing candidature list’ in Zgharta for the coming Parliamentary Elections, the President of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad, posted on his Twitter account a photo from his vacation with his family, over which he commented:
“I reached Lebanon back today from a family vacation. I was in France with Marielle, Nayla, Rene, Yara and Malek ‘preparing opposing parliamentary lists’… what absurdity the ‘Al Akhbar’."
He added to his tweet a number of expressive smileys.
