Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad warned Saturday against attempts to destabilize Lebanon's banking sector.
"Any campaigns targeting the banking sector and Lebanon's Central Bank, which represent the cornerstone of Lebanon's economic and social stability will have catastrophic repercussions," Moawad tweeted.
"It is necessary to confront all attempts aimed at tarnishing the image of Lebanon's banking sector abroad," Moawad said in a another tweet.
