Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad has voiced support for the Lebanese army in the wake of clashes between the military and Islamist militant on the border with Syria.
"I hail the Lebanese army and its heroic soldiers who are defending our nation in unrivaled operations," Moawad said in a tweet.
