Head of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad met at his residence in Zgharta with a delegation of the Salam Zgharta football club headed by Father Stephan Franjieh.
“We visited the head of the Independence Movement to thank him for congratulating the club after it won the Lebanese football cup and we informed him of preparations ahead of our participation in the Asian Federation Cup,” Franjieh said.
The Salam Zgharta delegation discussed with Moawad and Independence Movement officials Henry Moawad, Toni Shedid and Antonio Moawad the latest sports developments in north Lebanon.
“We agreed to maintain regular contact with the aim of supporting the club and sports in general,” Franjieh said.
