Crowds of the faithful in Zghorta marked Good Friday as they marched across town carrying crosses and symbolic coffins decorated with flowers to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
Head of Independence Movement Michel Moawad, his family and Mrs. Randa Jawad Boulos were among the faithfuls who attended a service led by Father Estephan Franjieh to mark Good Friday at Saint John Cathedral.
