Head of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad was invited to attend the 77th anniversary of the Kataeb party foundation following discussions between representatives of both parties.
A Kataeb delegation headed by the party’s Secretary General Michel Khoury and his Deputy Bashir Mrad handed over an invitation letter to Moawad during talks at the latter’s residence in Baabda.
Independence Movement member Youssef Moawad, who is in charge of coordinating relations with the Kataeb party, also attended the meeting alongside Zghorta’s local Kataeb official Michel Douaihy.
